Air Rubber Dunk “Off-White- University Gold”

The Off-White x Nike Air Rubber Dunk ‘University Gold’ is one of three colorways of the evolutionary silhouette created by Virgil Abloh and Nike. Released by Nike in Fall 2020, the Air Rubber Dunk is inspired by two models with vastly different functions, the Nike SB Dunk, which is a skateboarding shoe, and P-6000, a retro performance runner. Here, the flashy ‘University Gold’ Rubber Dunk features an all-gold-everything look. Vertical University Gold leather panels are layered over the tonal mesh base in similar fashion to the P-6000. A tonal rubber outline Swoosh appears on either side of the shoe. A signature Off-White orange hang tag appears under the Swoosh. Elsewhere, dual Off-White and Nike detailing appears on the tongue tag, and synthetic gold panels cover the toe, forefoot, and mudguard above the black rubber midsole. Release date: October 1, 2020.
